The radioclub F8KTH is always active during major VHF, UHF and SHF contests:
- Concours du Printemps (1st Weekend of May)
- Championnat de France THF (1st week-end of June)
- IARU R1 VHF (1er week-end in September).
We are QRV either from JN18OI or from JN18RN with the following equipment:

- Elecraft K2 + Transverter DB6NT MKU13G3 (28 MHz -> 1296 MHz)
- LNA ATF-54143 based on the W6PQL design

- 2m dish and OE9PMJ feed

We use Atalanta Locator as a loging software as it still runs on you old PC’s. The version 12.20 is available on the OK1KHQ web site.
We handle the specific rules of french contests using a small script build by Philippe F4CEP. This script is written in Rexx so you will need the right interpretor for your OS. I recommend Regina-Rexx available for Windows, Linux et MacOS X. The specifi script can be downloaded here: contest.rex
We are QRV on 2m, 70cm and 23cm and 10 GHz. Somotimes we are also QRV en24 GHZ. Skeds can be planned for SHF bands prior to the contest by emailing us at sked@f8kth.fr.
